The perfect cup with a purpose.
Warrior Wives Coffee Company is an online female owned company in the heart of Northwest Arkansas.
The owners, Keyla Sugg and April Dravenhold, have a lot in common including their love of excellent coffee. They want to share that love and their amazing flavors with the world.
Keyla and April’s similarities don’t end with coffee. Keyla’s husband, Marcus, was diagnosed with end stage renal failure for the first time in 2001. He thankfully received a lifesaving kidney transplant from his beloved sister. Unfortunately, in 2017, Marcus’s body started to reject his transplanted kidney. He has been on dialysis since then and has been on and off the transplant list due to health complications associated with long-term dialysis. April and her husband, Jeff, have been wonderful friends to Marcus and Keyla as they have struggled through this process.
Early spring of 2024, following a routine exam, April and Jeff were told that Jeff had liver cell necrosis and would need a liver transplant within the next year. With multiple testing and labs, Jeff is currently on watch with his liver doctor every six months. Imagine the shock and surprise that two best friends were both in need of lifesaving surgery.
Keyla and April had been discussing their dreams of owning a coffee company, but this new information made them believe it could be about more than just coffee. They wanted their company to have a mission. They understand the financial hardships that arise with a chronically ill patient and want to help alleviate that burden for as many as possible so that they may focus on their families and their health above all else. This is why a portion of the proceeds of each bag of coffee will be donated to those awaiting a transplant.
We hope you enjoy our delicious coffees and know that with each purchase, you are helping someone in need!
