Step 1

Determine the quantity of water required for your coffee preparation and heat it until it reaches a boiling point.

Insert your paper cone filter into the Chemex.

Prior to brewing, it is essential to grind your coffee beans and place them into the paper cone filter. For every 8 fluid ounces of water (equivalent to 1 cup), incorporate 1 to 2 tablespoons of the ground coffee.

Step 4

Place your coffee grounds into the cone filter and pour boiling water over them until the filter is half full, ensuring that the grounds are thoroughly saturated. Allow a few moments for the coffee grounds to absorb the water completely.

Step 5

Gradually incorporate the remaining boiling water, pouring it in a steady, circular motion to ensure that all the grounds are thoroughly saturated.
